genesys-agent-go¶
Status: Current | Last reviewed: 2026-05-28
Server-side WebRTC agent for Genesys Cloud. Logs in as a virtual agent and accepts calls without any client/desktop.
Source¶
Runtime¶
| Aspect | Value |
|---|---|
| Language | Go |
| Protocol | Genesys Cloud WebRTC |
| UI | Hidden admin route at /agent-simulation in ai-manager |
What it does¶
- Logs in to Genesys Cloud with provisioned agent credentials.
- Goes "On Queue" so Genesys routes calls to it.
- On call ring, accepts and opens a WebRTC media connection.
- Bridges the WebRTC stream to ai-orchestrator like any other transport.
This is distinct from genesys-connector-go, which terminates inbound AudioHook BYOC traffic. genesys-agent-go is outbound from the agent's perspective — Genesys sees a virtual agent worker, not a SIP trunk.
Dependencies¶
| Service | Purpose |
|---|---|
| ai-orchestrator | Session + audio |
| Postgres | Agent credentials in integrations |
| Genesys Cloud | WebRTC, presence, queues |
